Qualifications:

• Active Occupational Therapy (OT) license in New York State
• Strong understanding of school-based OT practices and interventions
• Experience working with children and adolescents preferred
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

• Deliver targeted occupational therapy interventions to students in alignment with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to develop and implement customized strategies that address students’ functional needs in the classroom
• Conduct thorough assessments and maintain accurate documentation of student progress
• Provide guidance and support to educators regarding classroom modifications and techniques to facilitate student success
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute subject matter expertise to the multidisciplinary team
