About the Facility

Located in Troy, New York, the hospital provides a comprehensive behavioral health program that encompasses inpatient services across three units, along with a strong outpatient program situated on the hospital grounds. An interdisciplinary team is dedicated to delivering specialized care tailored to the medical, psychiatric, and social needs of older adult patients.

Position Overview

This role is available for immediate placement and involves collaborating with a diverse team of counselors, therapists, psychiatrists, case managers, and nurse practitioners to deliver compassionate care to our patients.

• Responsibilities:
  • Provide outpatient coverage for adult patients at the Outpatient Mental Health Clinic.
  • Participate in a call rotation of 1:6 on weekends and 1:7 on weeknights.

Qualifications

• Applicants must meet the following criteria:
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.
  • Preferred experience in an outpatient setting.
  • Possession of DEA and New York State licensure.
  • Strong clinical and communication skills, with a commitment to team-oriented care.
  • New and recent graduates are encouraged to apply.

Compensation and Benefits

Our organization offers a competitive salary and comprehensive compensation package, which includes:

• Salary range between $318,449 and $354,957, based on experience, with opportunities for additional earnings through a quality incentive program.
• The stated salary reflects the starting compensation and does not include potential productivity bonuses, quality and performance incentives, extra shift bonuses, or other cash compensation applicable to the role.
• Providers typically receive a CME allowance and additional benefits from their medical group employer.
• Relocation assistance is available.
• A starting bonus of $35,000.
• Retention bonuses of $15,000 at the beginning of the second and third years.
