About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented AP Representative to support critical accounting and financial operations within a fast-paced automotive environment. This role is responsible for all aspects of requisitioning and transaction processing, ensuring timely, complete, and accurate posting of costs related to auction vehicles, including parts, labor, and transportation expenses.
Key Responsibilities
Accurately post charges to vehicles in a timely manner.
Document, classify, and track revenue leakage.
Process transportation activity through Oracle using systematic forms.
Ensure proper documentation is provided for vehicle jackets and account coordinators.
Support month-end accrual processes related to reconciliation revenue and purchasing activities.
Place and receive purchase orders.
Manage requisition and invoice workflows (paper and electronic).
Maintain accurate records and supporting documentation.
Meet or exceed service level expectations while minimizing revenue leakage and controlling costs.
Deliver high-quality customer service to business operations teams.
Respond promptly to audit requests and make necessary adjustments.
Perform special projects and additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
0–2 years of experience in accounting, accounts payable, finance, purchasing, or a related field.
Experience working in a team-oriented environment.
High-volume data entry experience required.
10-key by touch experience required.
Experience reviewing customer contracts preferred.
Previous coding experience preferred.
Demonstrated ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
Skills & Competencies
Strong accounting and organizational skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities.
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Knowledge of Oracle Financials required.
Working knowledge of AS400 systems preferred.
Ability to work effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
