Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Financials Consultant to support the implementation, configuration, enhancement, and optimization of Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials. The consultant works closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, technical teams, and project leadership to deliver scalable financial solutions aligned with business requirements and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead functional implementation and configuration of Oracle Fusion Financials modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), Cash Management, and Expenses.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into Oracle Fusion Financials functional solutions.
• Conduct discovery sessions, requirement gathering, fit-gap analysis, process mapping, and solution design.
• Configure Oracle Fusion Financials according to approved business processes and functional requirements.
• Design and support financial structures, chart of accounts, ledgers, legal entities, business units, accounting calendars, currencies, and intercompany relationships.
• Configure and support procure-to-pay (P2P), order-to-cash (O2C), record-to-report (R2R), and asset management processes.
• Develop functional specifications for integrations, reports, conversions, workflows, and extensions.
• Work with technical teams on Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST/SOAP services, reporting, data conversion, and system integrations.
• Support Oracle Financials data migration, validation, reconciliation, and conversion activities.
• Configure approval workflows, security roles, accounting rules, tax requirements, and financial controls.
• Develop and execute functional test scenarios, unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and regression testing.
• Identify and resolve functional issues, defects, configuration gaps, and production support incidents.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes and troubleshoot financial accounting issues.
• Prepare functional documentation, process flows, configuration workbooks, test scripts, and user training materials.
• Collaborate with cross-functional Oracle SCM, HCM, Procurement, Projects, and technical teams to ensure end-to-end process integration.
• Support Oracle Fusion Cloud quarterly updates by assessing new functionality, testing changes, and coordinating business readiness.
• Provide production support and continuous improvement recommendations for Oracle Fusion Financials.
• Ensure solutions comply with financial policies, internal controls, audit requirements, and applicable regulatory standards.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience working with Oracle Financials, with strong experience in Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, and Expenses.
• Strong understanding of financial business processes, including P2P, O2C, and R2R.
• Experience with Oracle Fusion Financials implementation, configuration, testing, and production support.
• Strong experience in requirements gathering, functional design, configuration, and solution documentation.
• Experience with data migration, reconciliation, interfaces, and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST/SOAP APIs, and Oracle reporting capabilities.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial controls, and enterprise finance processes.
• Experience working in Agile, Waterfall, or Oracle implementation methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, communication, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Oracle Fusion Financials certification.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud ERP implementations or upgrades.
• Experience integrating Oracle Fusion Financials with third-party applications and legacy systems.
• Knowledge of OTBI, BI Publisher, and Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence.
• Experience with Oracle Enterprise Data Management (EDM) and Enterprise Performance Management (EPM).
• Experience supporting global, multi-entity, multi-currency, and multi-ledger environments.
• Public sector, healthcare, manufacturing, retail, or other industry-specific Oracle Financials experience is a plus.
