Role Snapshot — Indianapolis, IN (On-Site)- Title: Mechatronic CNC Service Specialist
- Team: Manufacturing, Life Science Products
- Reports to: Sr. Manager, Manufacturing/Process Engineering
- Keep CNC and supporting equipment running at peak performance through expert maintenance and repair
- Resolve complex faults spanning electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and software systems
- Apply predictive and preventive maintenance to boost safety, quality, and uptime
- Use diagnostic tools (multimeters, infrared scanners) and OEM standards to inspect and validate
- Document work orders with clear root cause and corrective actions; order parts as needed
- Test, calibrate, and adjust components for dependable, repeatable machining results
- Partner with contractors and maintenance colleagues to shorten downtime
- Associate’s degree
- 2+ years hands-on experience with CNC machinery and/or maintenance troubleshooting in manufacturing
- Ability to lift 25 lbs, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive arm/wrist motions
- Strong communication, organization, and time management
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
- Exposure to medical industry environments or machinery relocation/installation
- Welding and fabrication familiarity
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Multimeters, infrared scanners, OEM maintenance procedures
- Root cause analysis and corrective action planning
- CMMS/work order documentation and parts management
