We are searching for an experienced Machinist to join our precision manufacturing team in Indianapolis. In this role, you'll set up and operate CNC tooling centers to produce high-quality, tight-tolerance components that meet exact design specifications. As a Machinist, your key responsibilities include: Set up CNC machines, position workpieces and tools, and adjust controls to achieve required tolerances. Operate machinery efficiently by monitoring feed rate and speed to ensure accurate production. Modify machine programming as needed to troubleshoot and improve processes. Perform quality control inspections by reading blueprints and using precision measuring tools to verify part specifications. Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure functional, high-quality output. Maintain a safe work environment by following all company and industry safety standards. To be successful in this role, you'll need: Minimum 3 years operating machining and turning centers or completion of machinist trade school. High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher preferred. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics. Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity. Competency in arithmetic and computer operation. Experience using precision measuring devices. 3D modeling knowledge is a plus. Effective communication with engineers and team members.
