Job Full Description Manual Machinist Shift: 2nd/3rd Location: Indianapolis, IN Pay: $22-$28/hr Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certificate or associate degree in a mechanical/electrical field preferred 3+ years of related machining or mechanical experience, or equivalent combination of education and training Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications Proficient in basic math skills, including fractions, decimals, tolerances, and measurements Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work in non-standard situations Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with a strong sense of urgency Responsibilities: Operate a variety of machining equipment including manual lathes, mills, grinders, drill presses, welders, and balancing equipment Perform machining tasks such as turning, milling, threading, boring, drilling, grinding, and dynamic balancing Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate machining and assembly of components Use precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, etc.) to verify dimensions and tolerances Perform welding (MIG, TIG, Stick, Oxy-Acetylene) and metal spray processes as needed Document measurements, calculations, and work performed in accordance with company standards Maintain a safe work environment while operating equipment and completing assigned tasks #SRGDH Cincinnati (Northwest), OH 2195 3551 Springdale Road Cincinnati, OH 45251
