As a Security Officer Access Control Driver in Memphis, TN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer in a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and help support smooth site access for visitors, employees, and deliveries. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and document deliveries, pickups, and contractor access in accordance with site protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, trailer yards, loading areas, and perimeter, as working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Help to deter unauthorized access, assist with traffic flow at gates and checkpoints, and support orderly movement of personnel, visitors, and vehicles throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
