Human Resources Manager (On-site)

As a Manager, Human Resources at Spectrum, you'll combine HR mastery and industry knowledge to evaluate and resolve complex issues in a fast paced environment. How You’ll Make an ImpactPartner with leadership to design and implement short and long term HR strategies that support organizational objectives and simplify the customer experienceProvide consultative HR support to managers and supervisors, including guidance on performance management, employee development and organizational changeEnsure legal compliance with all applicable federal state and local employment laws, including Fair Labor Standards Act, Family and Medical Leave Act and Americans with Disabilities Act Amendments ActOversee employee relations by conducting investigations, managing escalated issues including ethics reports, and ensuring company policies are administered fairly and consistentlyOversee recruiting, staffing, onboarding and retention strategies while ensuring compliance with equal employment opportunity, Federal Communications Commission and affirmative action requirementsManage HR operations including payroll and commission processing, benefits enrollment, unemployment and workers compensation claims, HRIS maintenance and HR communicationsLead and develop direct reports, participate in labor relations negotiations and enterprise taskforces, and manage departmental budget and expensesWorking ConditionsOffice environmentSome travel as requiredWhat You’ll Bring to SpectrumRequired QualificationsEducationBachelor's degree in human resources, business, organizational behavior, related field or equivalentExperience5+ years of Human Resource Generalist experience in a multi-location environmentSkillsClear written and verbal communication skills with all levels of company personnelAbility to speak in a public forumAbility to effectively manage and lead projectsEffective supervisory skillsAbility to maintain confidentiality of informationAbility to make decisions and solve problems while working under pressureDemonstrated PC and Microsoft Office skillsAbility to work independently and prioritize and organize effectivelyKnowledge of local state and federal employment laws and proceduresKnowledge of recruitment trends and technologiesKnowledge of wage and hour lawsKnowledge of staffing and employment practicesKnowledge of employee relations procedures and applicable lawPreferred QualificationsEducationMaster’s degreeCertifications for human resource professionals (PHR, SPHR)Managing LOA/ADA requests Employee relations background; experience with conducting workplace investigations Performance management; coaching leaders and assisting with corrective action processes Experience2+ years of management or leadership experience consultationLicensesValid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record within company standards#LI-SWD74 HGN505 2026-78368 2026 Here, our employees don’t just have jobs, they're building careers.
