We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team at Silvis Center Rehab and Care! As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional nutrition services to our patients while promoting a positive and supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and serving of meals and snacks to patients, residents, and staff

• Maintain a clean and organized dietary department, adhering to all food safety and sanitation standards

• Assist with meal delivery and tray service to patients in their rooms

• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure their nutritional needs are met

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the overall patient experience

• Maintain accurate records and reports related to food distribution and patient nutrition

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary or nutrition-related degree or certification preferred

• Ability to lift 25 pounds and push/pull 50 pounds

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical records
