About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to spearhead a significant enterprise transformation. The successful candidate will be tasked with building a modern, data-driven marketing and customer experience function that is pivotal in driving donor participation, strengthening stakeholder engagement, and ensuring a stable blood supply. This role demands a leader with a transformational and enterprise-minded approach, capable of unifying and elevating marketing and customer experience into strategic enterprise capabilities. The CMO will be responsible for increasing brand awareness, growing the donor base, and optimizing the customer experience across various stakeholder groups. A key focus will be on enhancing the foundation's performance, particularly in fundraising and donor engagement. The ideal CMO for the company will have a background in brand, demand generation, and customer experience, with a proven track record in integrating these elements to achieve measurable outcomes. Experience in relevant industries such as healthcare systems, large cause-driven nonprofits, or consumer healthcare is essential. The role requires a mission-driven leader with a builder's mindset, who is adept at marketing transformation, and is passionate about the life-saving purpose of the organization. The CMO will be expected to lead the development of an enterprise-wide strategy for donor engagement, design customer journey and experience strategies, and build a performance-driven marketing ecosystem powered by data, analytics, and modern martech infrastructure.
