Billing Specialist

Overview This position provides billing support to multiple Project Managers as well as assist other accounting professionals in the accounting department. Responsibilities Prepare itemized invoices for engineering services Contact Project Managers and other senior level managers to obtain or relay project information Verify accuracy of billing data and make revisions as needed or requested Reconcile or note and report discrepancies found on invoices and other accounting reports Code project files and documents according to company procedures Keep records of invoices and support documents File invoices and other accounting documents Assist in gathering information and running various accounting reports Assist with other accounting duties within the accounting department as needed or requested Qualifications High School diploma or GED equivalent Minimum of 2+ years' experience in a similar role Extremely detail-oriented with high level of accuracy Proficient in MS Word and MS Excel Experience using Deltek Vantagepoint software preferred but not required Flexibility in work assignments as priorities change Effective communication skills, both oral and written Effective interpersonal skills with all level of employees in an organization- Must be able to work within a team and independently Must be reliable and dependable Must be able to work from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday with occasional overtime as needed.
