Employee Benefits Account Manager

Our client, a rapidly growing national employee benefits consulting firm, is seeking an experienced Account Manager to join their team. This role will manage a book of employee benefits clients while partnering closely with consultants and service teams to deliver exceptional client service and strategic benefits solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building long-term client relationships, managing renewals, and serving as a trusted advisor to employer groups. This position will be onsite at their Tampa office 2 days per week. Responsibilities Manage and maintain an assigned book of employee benefits clients Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for client service needs Partner with consultants and internal teams to coordinate the annual renewal process Conduct strategy meetings, needs assessments, and enrollment meetings Provide guidance on benefit plan options, cost containment strategies, and industry trends Coordinate with internal resources to ensure timely and accurate service delivery Build strong client relationships through proactive communication and ongoing support Identify opportunities to expand client services when appropriate Qualifications 3+ years of employee benefits account management or consultative benefits experience Previous experience with a benefits brokerage, consulting firm, or benefits administration organization Active Life & Health License Strong knowledge of medical, dental, vision, disability, and ancillary benefit plans Excellent communication, organization, and client relationship skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Preferred Bachelor's Degree Experience supporting complex employer groups and benefit renewals Familiarity with employee benefits quoting tools and Microsoft Office #J-18808-Ljbffr
