Qualifications include:
- Current Massachusetts Special Education Teaching Certification
- Experience with ABA/autism programs and related instructional strategies
- Skills in managing diverse classroom needs and adapting lessons for individualized learning
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with families and staff
- Commitment to professional growth and evidence-based practices
Key responsibilities in this setting:
- Deliver tailored instruction to elementary students, focusing on individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Adapt curriculum and activities to meet the needs of all learners
- Build supportive relationships with students, utilizing ABA-based interventions
- Work closely with other educators, specialists, and families to foster an inclusive classroom
- Track and report on student progress and participate in IEP meetings
- Cultivate a respectful, engaging, and dynamic learning atmosphere
This contract runs from August 26, 2026, through June 15, 2027, and is full-time, allowing you to fully engage with the classroom community and see your students grow throughout the academic year.
