Position Overview

We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) for a contract position offering night shifts. This role involves working across multiple medical surgical (MS) and telemetry (Tele) floors in various locations. The primary assignment will be at East Campus, with a requirement to float to other campuses as needed.

Shift Information

• Shift Type: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

Key Responsibilities

• Float to multiple locations including Thornton (La Jolla), Jacobs (La Jolla), Hillcrest (Hillcrest), and East Campus (La Mesa) during the contract period.
• Complete assigned shifts with flexibility to work extra hours as needed.
• Respond to a phone call 2 hours before each shift to confirm location of work.
• Follow strict return time off (RTO) policies and scheduling directives.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Medical Surgical/Telemetry nursing.
• Licensure: Active California state nursing license required.
• References: 2 manager-level references necessary.

Scheduling Details

• RTO must be noted upon submission, with a limit of 7 days within a 13-week contract.
• No RTO allowed during the first two weeks of the assignment.
• A 4-week schedule will be provided 2 weeks in advance, without blocked scheduling.

Additional Information

• Orientation hours and training modules are non-billable and factored into the overall contract.
• Must adhere to a policy regarding background checks, including any license or background hits, for approval.
• Return staff policy requires a 1-year absence from traveling before re-application.
