Job Overview A law firm seeks a Mid-Level to Senior Technology Transactions Associate to join their team in Chicago, IL. Duties Draft and negotiate service agreements, including development, manufacturing, and distribution contracts. Advise on intellectual property and technology issues in corporate transactions such as mergers and acquisitions. Evaluate and provide guidance on IP matters in corporate carve-outs, LBOs, and debt financings. Requirements 3-6 years of experience in technology transactions and intellectual property matters. Active member of the bar in the state of practice. Education Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Certifications Bar admission in the state of practice. Skills Strong analytical and negotiation skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Proficiency in handling complex commercial agreements.
