HIRING IMMEDIATELY: INVENTORY CLERK IN PLAINFIELD, IL
Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for an Inventory Clerk to join our team in Plainfield, Illinois. This individual will be responsible for ensuring accuracy when picking orders and maintaining inventory is required to assist all warehouse and production team members. The ideal candidate will possess computer knowledge utilizing Microsoft Dynamics GP software, is detail-oriented and reliable work ethic with high attention to detail, and more listed below. Pay, Schedule, and Location
- Starting at $17/hour
- Excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision
- 1st shift
- Located in Plainfield, Illinois
Duties and Responsibilities
- Review and apply inventory activities, including movements and deletions.
- Maintain and update inventory records.
- Develop and implement efficient inventory procedures.
- Reconcile inventory discrepancies, report stock issues, and place product orders.
- Pick inventory, pick tickets and perform Cycle Counts.
- Maintain a safe and clean warehouse environment.
- Assists production, receiving, and shipping departments as needed.
- Additional responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Detail-oriented and reliable work ethic with high attention to detail.
- Has computer knowledge utilizing Microsoft Dynamics GP software.
- Forklift certified, a plus.
- Able to speak and write in English fluently required; Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
- In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
- High School graduate/GED.
- Forklift certified, a plus.
- Proven experience maintaining safety procedures and documentation, a plus
- Prolonged periods of standing in the warehouse.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds rarely and 25 pounds occasionally, and 15 pounds regularly.
- Able to reach above shoulders regularly.
- Able to stoop, kneel, bend, twist, and crouch occasionally.
