Job Description

The Emergency Department (ED) at our Level III Trauma Center is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) with extensive experience in emergency care. This position involves working in a fast-paced environment within one of the busiest EDs in Ohio, providing critical care to patients in a 38-bed unit with 2 trauma bays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care to patients in emergency situations.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to create and implement patient care plans.
• Perform assessments and provide interventions in alignment with ED protocols.
• Utilize Epic EMR for patient documentation and care coordination.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 3 years of current/recent ED experience or completion of at least 3 ED assignments.
• Current BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications.
• TNCC and ENPC certifications are preferred but not required.
• Competency with Epic EMR is required.
