Staff Accountant

We are adding to our staff in our Youngstown, Ohio office. We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join our Accounting and Finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible to prepare financial statements, verify financial records and transactions, analyze cash flow, review budgets and forecasts, assist in overseeing yearend compilations, and develop paperwork for regulatory reporting. Our ideal candidate has at least four years of professional accounting experience with a track record for providing accurate and efficient work. Requirements and Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field 3+ years of experience as an accountant Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting and cost control principles and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Advanced knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting best practices, laws, standards, and state/national regulations Candidate is looking for a career and willing to be a part of a fast-paced real estate development and management company.
