Job Details Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant to join a collaborative accounting team supporting a fast-paced, mission-driven organization. This individual will play a key role in the monthly close process, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and maintaining the accuracy of the general ledger while partnering with stakeholders across the business. Responsibilities Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations. Support the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes. Analyze financial results and investigate account variances. Assist with financial reporting and audit support. Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal accounting policies. Partner with FP&A and cross-functional business teams on accounting matters. Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls. Participate in special projects and system or process improvement initiatives. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. 4-7+ years of progressive accounting experience. Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP. Experience with month-end close, general ledger accounting, and reconciliations. CPA or CPA-track preferred. Experience working in a complex corporate, technology, healthcare, life sciences, or research environment is a plus. Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP systems.
