Our client, in Des Moines, IA is looking for a Refrigeration Assembly Technician!

Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Refrigeration Assembly Technician to build, assemble, and test refrigeration systems and components. This role involves working with mechanical and electrical parts to ensure units are assembled to specification and quality standards. The ideal candidate is hands-on, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working in a production or manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assemble refrigeration units and components according to blueprints and specifications
• Install wiring, piping, and mechanical parts for complete system builds
• Perform brazing, soldering, and basic electrical connections
• Test assembled units to ensure proper functionality and performance
• Inspect components and finished products for quality assurance
• Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety procedures and company standards

Qualifications:
• Previous experience in assembly, HVAC, refrigeration, or related field preferred
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to read blueprints or schematics
• Experience with hand and power tools
• Brazing or soldering experience is a plus
• Basic electrical knowledge preferred
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to lift 40-50 lbs and stand for extended periods

Hours:
Full-time; typical first shift hours with potential overtime

Pay:
$18.00-$25.00/hour DOE
