A/R Applications Analyst - Hybrid

Job Overview Labcorp is a global leader in diagnostic testing and drug development solutions, helping healthcare providers, researchers, and patients make informed decisions that advance care. Labcorp is seeking an Accounts Receivable Applications Analyst to join our team. Work Schedule Monday – Friday, 8:00AM – 5:00PM EST. This hybrid position offers a balanced schedule of three in-office workdays at Burlington or Durham, NC, and two remote workdays per week. Responsibilities Perform detailed research and evaluation of projects and assignments requiring knowledge and experience in Accounts Receivable or related background. Recommend to management and initiate implementation of new procedures and processes. Develop management reporting using MSExcel, MSAccess, and other office software. Collaborate with departments/business associates to analyze, understand and define business rules for department workflow and system enhancements. Identify issues to provide recommendations and financial implications for Revenue Cycle Management. Assess, understand, and solve complex problems by applying data analysis and critical thinking. Complete research and investigation into areas not clearly defined. Minimum Qualifications Associate Degree. Three (3) years or more experience in Accounts Receivable, Analytical Acumen, or related field. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of accounting principles and accounts receivable calculations, including DSO, cash factor, and bad debt. Experience identifying issues and providing recommendations with financial implications and operational applications in Revenue Cycle Management. Strong data analysis and critical thinking skills.
