Research Administration Coordinator Job Number: 25988 Functional Area: Finance/Accounting Department: Materials Science and Engineering School Area: Engineering Pay Range Minimum: $67,300 Pay Range Maximum: $80,050 Employment Type: Full-time (Hybrid) Employment Category: Exempt Visa Sponsorship Available: No Schedule: Pay Grade: 6 Posting Description RESEARCH ADMINISTRATION COORDINATOR, Materials Science and Engineering (DMSE), reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Research Administration, will be responsible for general compliance of department and research accounts and serves as a key component of the department’s research operation; coordinate sponsored program for DMSE; perform diverse financial duties such as preparing, reviewing, and submitting budgets, reconciling and auditing monthly accounts, and preparing and analyzing financial reports for multiple accounts or projects. Job Requirements REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree; two years of finance or accounting experience; be comfortable with complex calculations and budgeting; intellectual curiosity, creative problem solving, and a continuous improvement mindset; demonstrated sound judgment and ability to quickly meet short turn-around times; puzzle-solving professional who can multitask and perform hands‑on work in a team‑based work group; and excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and strong analytical and communications skills.
