Exciting new opportunity available for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to support young learners for the upcoming school year! This contract position is full-time (37.5 hours per week), serving a single middle school site with a supportive educational environment. The role is ideal for professionals passionate about making a difference in the lives of students, whether you hold your Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) standing or Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).

Essential Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current license (or eligibility) to practice as an SLP in North Carolina
• ASHA CCCs or CFY applicants welcome; school-based or pediatric caseload experience valued
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and school teams
• Familiarity with IEP development, documentation, and progress monitoring

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy to middle school students
• Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to address student needs
• Conduct assessments, write reports, and maintain thorough documentation
• Offer support and consult with classroom staff to facilitate carryover of communication goals
• Participate in IEP meetings and parent conferences as needed
• Collaborate with a dedicated team of educators, counselors, and support professionals
