Mechanical and Piping Insulator

Position Overview RQ Construction is looking for experienced Mechanical and Piping Insulators . All work will be performed on a military installation and is compensated in accordance with applicable Davis‑Bacon prevailing wage rates specific to the project site. Insulators will install insulation on mechanical equipment, duct systems, and piping to regulate temperature and improve system performance, while ensuring all work meets applicable codes, specifications, and safety requirements. Compensation & Benefits Pay Range: $30.00-$45.00 per hour Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance 401(k) with company match Paid Time Off: 1 week vacation plus accrued sick time Education & Experience Requirements High school diploma or G.E.D. is the minimum education required Completion of a Union, private (in-house), military, or trade school apprenticeship program preferred 4 or more years of field or trade work experience as a journey-level mechanical piping insulator in a commercial, or facilities operations setting; government, military, or large commercial construction experience preferred Join RQ, apply today!
