Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform comprehensive initial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each client.

• Engage with clients through various therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused therapy.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including psychologists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic client care.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and progress notes while adhering to ethical and legal standards.

• Utilize evidence-based practices to address issues like anxiety, depression, relationship conflicts, and life adjustments, ensuring each client receives the best care possible.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Healing Place, you will work with a diverse array of patients ranging from individuals facing short-term stressors requiring immediate support, to those needing long-term therapeutic interventions for more complex issues such as trauma or substance abuse. You will be instrumental in guiding clients on their journeys toward emotional wellness and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.

• At least two years of counseling experience, ideally in a clinical setting.

• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples counseling, trauma recovery, or substance abuse treatment is strongly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n

• Competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
