This role offers a unique blend of tax compliance, tax planning, financial administration, and client advisory work, making it an excellent opportunity for professionals looking to broaden their expertise beyond traditional tax preparation.What You'll Be DoingPrepare and review individual, business, and fiduciary income tax returns, including multi-state filingsAssist with tax planning, projections, estimated tax calculations, and year-round advisory servicesRespond to tax notices and support IRS and state tax auditsConduct tax research and participate in special projectsReview payroll tax filings and information returnsSupport forensic accounting and financial analyses related to matrimonial mattersProvide business management and financial administration services to high-net-worth individuals and familiesReview financial statements, budgets, cash flow analyses, spending reports, and financial plansBuild and maintain strong client relationships while serving as a trusted advisorCollaborate with attorneys, investment advisors, accountants, and other members of a client's professional services teamManage workflow, client engagements, billing, and overall profitability of assigned accountsWhat We're Looking ForBachelor's degree in Accounting required; Master's in Taxation preferredCPA preferred5-7 years of high-net-worth tax experience within a CPA firm, family office, or wealth management environmentStrong experience preparing and reviewing complex individual income tax returnsKnowledge of tax planning, financial planning, and financial administration conceptsProficiency with CCH Axcess Tax and QuickBooks (Desktop and Online)Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detailAbility to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a client-focused environmentExcellent communication and relationship-building skillsWhy Consider This Opportunity?This role offers much more than tax compliance.
