EnerSys has an immediate need for a Project Manager for its growing services division. With a focus on customer service, this position provides management oversight for all phases of the construction project, including coordinating workers, materials, and equipment. The Project Manager II Service typically manages multiple higher revenue projects, multiple high revenue projects, with the total value of projects exceeding $5 million dollars, ensuring that specifications and safety procedures are followed and that the work is proceeding on schedule and within budget.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesOversee all aspects of multiple projects from start to finish, developing and executing detailed project schedules and monitoring on-time delivery, revenue, KPIs, and margin qualityMeet with customers to review project scope and timeline and create customer estimates and quotes, as neededMaintain a close interface with the customer, project management office, and service group stakeholders, and other departments, regarding schedules, quality, and standards; schedule meetings, prepare materials, and draft minutesManage all service representatives, subcontractors, vendors, and contractors for compliance to quality, safety, cost, and timeliness requirementsWrite method of procedure and scope of work project documentsApprove maintenance operation procedure project documents for regionCreate and transmit all kickoff and closeout documentation, floor plans, schematics, and specifications relevant to projectsCollaborate with design professionals, subject matter experts and other resources to ensure the timely and cost-effective completion of all projectsManage project change orders, and timely, accurate invoicingCommunicate change orders to the customer and/or management in a timely mannerUnderstand and implement customers' standards of safety, installation quality, processes, and communication methodsUnderstand and enforce Enersys standards of professionalism, quality, safety, metrics, and processesTrack all time, expenses, and report accurately, using the approved methodsCultivate customer relationships, and identify new business opportunitiesQualificationsEducation: 2-year degree or 2 years of equivalent trainingExperience: 6-8 years of related industry/construction experience 2-4 years of supervisory experienceOther Requirements Knowledge of code requirements for specialty trade systems and their integration into overall facility or project plansAdvanced proficiency/understanding of CAD drawings, Gantt charts, MS Project, Excel, and VisioAbility to work with limited direct supervisionAbility and willingness to learn and grow within the organizationStrong verbal, telephone, and written communications skillsIntermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and the InternetDesirable Qualifications and Skills PMP certification acquired or in processGeneral Job Requirements This position will work in an office setting, expect minimal physical demands.EnerSys provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
