Locums - Flagstaff, Arizona, Hospitalist/Nocturnist Job (IMLC Accepted)

Coverage Dates:

06/15/2026 (Monday) - Early Swing
07/03/2026 (Friday) - Early Swing
07/03/2026 (Friday) - Swing 4p-4a
07/05/2026 (Sunday) - Early Swing

Schedule & Shift Details:

Amount of coverage needed per month: varies
Early Swing: 10a-10p
Swing: 4p-4a
Night Shift: 6p-6a
Admit Shift: 6a-6p

Patient & Department Details:

Patients per day: 20-30 (as a collective service)
Patient population: all ages
Closed ICU
Admissions must be accepted by the intensivist on duty
Hospital bed size: 270 beds

Special Procedures / Unit Details:

Admit physician (6a-6p) strictly handles hospital admissions
Swing physician (4p-4a) also handles admissions
Night physicians (6p-6a) manage admissions and cross-coverage
Two physicians scheduled each night from 6p-6a
Between 6p-6a, Swing physician and Night physician cross-cover hospitalized patients, excluding ICU patients

Practice Setting:

Hospital

EMR:

Cerner

Requirements:

Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
Active Arizona license required or IMLC Letter of Qualification in hand
DEA required
ACLS required
Minimum 2 years of experience required
Credentialing timeframe: 2-3 weeks
Drive-in candidates only
