Litigation Legal Assistant

The Las Vegas office of a national law firm is seeking a Litigation Legal Assistant for a permanent position. This successful defense law firm offers excellent benefits and competitive salary. To be considered, legal assistant should have at least six years of experience as a legal assistant in a full-service or defense law firm, e-filing with state and federal courts, and experience assisting with trial preparation. Responsibilities will include: Maintaining and organizing files Drafting, formatting, editing and proofreading legal memos and correspondence, pleadings and discovery E-filing with state and federal courts Managing attorney calendars and scheduling meetings, conference calls and travel Communicating with clients, court officials, vendors and others involved in the cases Assisting with billing, time entry, expenses, and accounts receivable Entering attorney time Assisting with special projects Benefits include generous PTO, medical/dental/vision, annual profit-sharing contribution, annual bonus, paid parking and more.
