Forklift Operators Wanted

This role involves operating sit-down, stand-up, and reach forklifts in a fast-paced distribution environment. You will handle materials throughout the warehouse, perform palletizing and case selecting for most of the day, and consistently lift up to 50 pounds while supporting shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment activities.

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down, stand-up, and reach forklifts safely and efficiently throughout the distribution center.
• Perform material handling tasks, including loading, unloading, and moving pallets and products within the warehouse.
• Conduct case picking and order picking accurately using RF scan guns and other warehouse tools.
• Palletize products and organize pallets for storage, staging, and shipment.
• Support shipping and receiving activities by loading and unloading trailers and staging products in designated areas.
• Use pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment to move materials as needed.
• Follow established warehouse procedures to ensure accurate order fulfillment and inventory handling.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper stacking and storage of pallets and materials.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and operational standards when operating forklifts and handling materials.
• Assist with general labor tasks in the warehouse as required to support overall operations.

Work Environment

This position is based in a non-climate-controlled distribution center, where temperatures may vary with the seasons. The work is physically demanding and involves standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and operating forklifts and pallet jacks for most of the shift. You will work around active warehouse equipment, pallets, and loading areas, following safety procedures to ensure a secure and efficient workplace. Appropriate work attire suitable for a warehouse environment is expected.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Worth, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
