We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant with experience or interest in psychiatry to join our team. If you are passionate about mental health and enjoy working in a patient-focused environment, we encourage you to apply.Responsibilities include:Assist psychiatrists and other mental health providers with patient care.Prepare patients for examinations, including taking vitals and updating medical histories.Assist with prior authorizations, referrals, and medication management.Maintain accurate and confidential medical records using AMD.Provide patient education on medications, treatment plans, and mental health resources.Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, answering phones, and verifying insurance.Ensure a safe and supportive environment for psychiatric patients.Work on Saturdays as part of a regular schedule.Requirements include:Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred.Prior experience in psychiatry, behavioral health, or mental health settings is highly desirable.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work with patients experiencing mental health challenges.Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.Proficiency in EMR systems and basic medical office procedures.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Benefits include:Competitive pay based on experience.Health, dental, and vision insurance.401(k) with employer match.Paid time off and holidays.Professional development opportunities.Salary: $21 - $25 per hour
