The team provides opportunities to build deep operational expertise and broad exposure across the firm, supporting internal mobility and long-term career development.What you’ll doConfirm daily futures trade activity and manage exceptions that affect accurate processing and risk controlsReconcile positions with prime brokers, futures commission merchants, and trading counterparties to maintain accurate books and recordsPartner with portfolio managers, traders, and external counterparties to resolve trade-related issues quickly and accuratelyFacilitate the quarterly bond futures delivery process with portfolio managers and futures commission merchantsInvestigate futures commission, fee, and tax differences with counterparties, including support for give-up and clearing fee schedulesMonitor and help execute funding trades that support trading activity in non-deliverable forward marketsRespond to ad hoc queries from internal and external stakeholders with timely, accurate informationSupport onboarding for new portfolio management teams, including account setup, platform training, and third-party connectivityImprove team processes by identifying automation opportunities, increasing efficiency, and strengthening operational controlsWhat’s requiredUndergraduate degree in accounting, business, economics, mathematics, or a related fieldZero to two years of experience in middle office operations at a hedge fund, asset manager, bank, or similar financial institutionStrong working knowledge of listed futures and options markets, products, and lifecycle processesHands-on experience with electronic affirmation and confirmation platforms used to support trading activityStrong working knowledge of futures commissions, including clearing, execution, and exchange rates, and give-up agreement processesProficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly ExcelSuperior problem-solving and analytical skills with high attention to detailStrong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with portfolio managers, traders, counterparties, and internal teamsAbility to multitask, adapt to changing priorities, work independently, and stay self-motivated in a fast-paced environmentCommitment to the highest ethical standardsWe take care of our peopleWe invest in our people, their careers, their health, and their well-being.
