Key Responsibilities Manage multiple mechanical engineering projects concurrently, ensuring successful outcomes. Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocations for mechanical engineering tasks. Oversee the detailed design and specification of mechanical systems, equipment, and infrastructure. Coordinate with procurement, manufacturing, and site installation teams to ensure smooth project execution. Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and address any technical challenges. Ensure all mechanical designs comply with relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and client requirements. Prepare and present project progress reports to senior management and clients. Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively resolving issues to maintain project momentum. Foster strong working relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal teams. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline. Minimum of 5 years' experience in project engineering or mechanical project management. Proven ability to manage projects from conception through to completion. Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, fabrication techniques, and construction methods. Experience with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) is highly desirable. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, balancing remote work with on-site project activities in and around **Paarl**. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the **Western Cape** region as required. Sound knowledge of South African engineering standards and safety legislation.
