MRI Technologist - 13-Week Contract

Location: Washington State

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Day shift: 3x12 hours (06:30 - 19:00), Wednesday to Friday.

Job Description: The MRI Technologist will perform a variety of imaging exams, including specialized studies such as Cardiac MRI and Breast MRI during the day shift. The technologist will be responsible for ensuring high-quality patient care and may need to float between outpatient, inpatient, and emergency department settings as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct MRI procedures on patients of diverse ages, including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, and adults.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
• Operate MRI equipment efficiently to produce high-quality images.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using the EPIC charting system.
• Administer contrast media as required for imaging procedures.
• Assist and provide support to nursing staff with patient movement and care as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an MRI Technologist.
• Certification: BLS, ARRT-MR or ARRT-IT required.
• WA State license required.
• Preferred experience with pediatric and neonatal imaging.
