Segment Marketing Manager

Pivotal Health Solutions is seeking a Segment Marketing Manager to join our team in Watertown, SD. This role can be hybrid - working in the office in Watertown 2 to 3 days each week. As a Segment Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive downstream marketing strategies that accelerate growth for Pivotal Health Solutions. This role serves as the commercial marketing leader for the business, translating business objectives into actionable marketing initiatives that generate demand, strengthen customer engagement, increase market share, and support profitable revenue growth. Working cross-functionally with Product Management, Sales, Operations, and Engineering, this individual owns the commercialization strategy for existing products and new product launches throughout the product lifecycle. The Segment Marketing Manager becomes an internal expert with customers, competitors, clinical applications, and buying behaviors, ensuring Pivotal Health Solutions maintains a leadership position within its target markets. Develop and execute annual downstream marketing plans aligned with revenue and profitability objectives. Own the go-to-market strategy for all Pivotal products Build commercialization plans for new product introductions, product refreshes, and lifecycle management initiatives. Develop market segmentation strategies that prioritize high-value customers and growth opportunities. Create annual marketing calendars supporting product launches, promotions, digital campaigns, trade shows, and customer events. Commercial Execution Drive demand generation programs that create qualified leads for the sales organization. Develop integrated marketing campaigns utilizing digital marketing, email automation, social media, print, video, webinars, and industry publications. Develop promotional programs that increase customer acquisition, retention, and product utilization. Measure campaign effectiveness and continuously optimize marketing ROI. Equip the sales team with best-in-class selling tools including: Product presentations Conduct regular product and market training for the sales organization. Gather feedback from Sales to continuously improve marketing effectiveness. Partner closely with Product Management to: Develop launch messaging Create launch kits Build sales training materials Execute post-launch performance reviews Trade Shows & Industry Presence Develop annual trade show strategies aligned with segment goals. Coordinate booth messaging, product demonstrations, promotional campaigns, and customer events. Manage sponsorship opportunities and industry partnerships. Digital Marketing Execution Collaborate with Digital Marketing to: Improve website content Increase SEO performance Support ecommerce initiatives where applicable Performs other duties as assigned Job Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field 5+ years of downstream marketing, product marketing, or commercial marketing experience Proven creative thinker that independently generates and executes on innovative marketing ideas Strong communication and writing skills; ability to work across business lines, presenting to various levels of management Strong attention to detail Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of products Highly analytical to understand market segment trends to translate into actionable needs Demonstrates an organizational savvy to get things done effectively and efficiently Highly developed interpersonal and project management skills Collaborate with and support market-leading salesforce Pivotal Health Solutions offers a complete benefits package including 401K, paid time off, paid holidays and healthcare benefits.
