Your Role Reside in the client’s home during your agreed-upon rotation to provide vital daily care, safety, and engagement. * Assisting with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene) * Supporting mobility, transfers, and prescribed exercises * Preparing nutritious meals and encouraging hydration * Providing medication reminders and light housekeeping * Driving clients to medical appointments, errands, and outings * Offering warm companionship and following individualized care plans * Completing daily mobile documentation and tracking break/sleep periods Qualifications * Driving Requirement (Mandatory): Active driver’s license, reliable personal vehicle you own, and current auto insurance in your name * Active Rhode Island CNA license (RI only) * CNA (any U.S. state), HHA, recognized caregiver training, or completion of ASQ’s PCA program (CT only) * High school diploma or GED * Basic technology skills for mobile documentation * Ability to work rotations independently and pass background/health checks Who Thrives at ASQ * Integrity: Maintains strict confidentiality and records prompt, accurate daily documentation. * Compassion: Treats every client with patience, warmth, and dignity. * Dedication: Arrives prepared and thoroughly follows every detail of the care plan. * Resourcefulness: Adapts smoothly to changing daily needs and escalates concerns appropriately. Understanding Live-In Structure * Each 24-hour day includes 13 paid working hours, 3 unpaid break hours, and 8 unpaid sleep hours. * Interrupted break or sleep time spent assisting the client is fully paid and logged.
