PT Maintenance Technician or Helper

Thank you for considering the opportunity for employment with our nursing home. We are looking for a FT maintenance technician along with a building and grounds helper for facility improvment. Whether you are retired and looking to keep busy, a new graduate from school, or a seasoned veteran of multiple trades, all applications will be seriously considered.
Responsibilities:
Analyze & identify parts as needed to support maintenance activities.
Support in-house servie operations by assisting with installations & repairs at our central location.
Maintain a clean & organized work environemnt, adhering to saftey protocols at all times.
Document maintenance activities & report any signficant findins or concerns.
Requirements:
Strong knowledge of various trades & construction skills.
Familiarity with hand and power tools.
experience & proficiency in painting.
Ability to analyze problems effectively & propose practical solutions.
Be able to listen to residents, suprvisors & other employees & effectively discuss, solve or relay their probels or concerns to Director of Maintenance.
Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team & leave work area cleaner than when you arrived.
Willingness to learn new skills & techniques related to maintenance tasks.
Strong attention to detail, commitment to qualtiy workmanship & pride in your appearance as a professional.
