Meador is seeking a reliable 2nd shift Shipping Clerk to support the day-to-day operations of a busy warehouse. The ideal candidate will have previous clerical or shipping office experience and be familiar with the responsibilities involved in coordinating and processing shipments.
Responsibilities:
- Process and prepare shipping paperwork and documentation
- Coordinate shipping activities and ensure orders are processed accurately
- Maintain accurate records and data entry
- Communicate with drivers, carriers, warehouse personnel, and other team members
- Monitor shipments and help resolve any issues that may arise
- Ensure shipping information is complete, accurate, and up to date
- Handle day-to-day shipping office tasks independently
- Maintain an organized and efficient shipping office
- Help in the warehouse as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous shipping clerk, logistics clerk, warehouse clerk, or similar experience required
- Familiarity with shipping office procedures and documentation
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Dependable and able to work independently
- Comfortable taking ownership of tasks and making decisions when needed
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Computer/data entry experience, Excel, and email
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs as required
Pay Rate:
$18/hour. Paid weekly!
Schedule:
Training: Day shift, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM or 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
