Accounts Receivable Specialist

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to assist their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $30.00 to $34.00 per hour. Job Responsibilities Prepare and process customer invoices while ensuring accurate and timely billing activities. Apply customer payments, maintain account records, and update financial information within accounting systems. Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, payment issues, and account variances in a timely manner. Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on past due accounts to support collection efforts. Assist with account reconciliations, month end close activities, and financial reporting support. Requirements 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, collections, or a related accounting function. Strong understanding of receivables management, payment processing, and account reconciliation procedures. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other accounting software applications. Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines. Previous experience working in a fast paced accounting or finance environment. Qualifications Prior experience with ERP or accounting systems. Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation. Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers and internal teams. Strong analytical and problem solving abilities with the capability to identify and resolve account issues.
