Executive Director Enterprise Financial Analytics

Role Description

The Executive Director, Enterprise Financial Analytics is the senior finance leader accountable for the full enterprise financial analytics function supporting Care Delivery, reporting directly to the VP & CFO, Care Delivery. This role unifies and leads five core finance teams into a single, cohesive analytics organization.

• Serve as a strategic finance partner to the VP & CFO, Care Delivery and senior operational leaders, translating complex financial and analytic findings into clear recommendations.
• Lead the Financial Planning and Analysis team in developing the annual operating and capital budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-range financial plans.
• Direct the Labor Performance Management team in monitoring productivity, labor cost trends, and staffing efficiency metrics.
• Direct the Corporate Finance Systems team's administration, governance, and continuous optimization of the Strata platform.
• Set the enterprise financial analytics strategy and operating model across various finance functions.
• Oversee the Finance Reporting & Analytics and Business Intelligence teams in producing standardized financial reporting and dashboards.
• Guide the Decision Support team in delivering service-line, departmental, and program-level cost, margin, and utilization analyses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
• 12-15 years of progressive finance leadership experience, including financial planning, decision support, or analytics roles.
• At least 7-8 years in a healthcare or health system environment.
• Master's degree (MBA, MHA, or related) preferred.

Requirements

• Deep knowledge of healthcare financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and decision support methodologies.
• Working knowledge of the Strata financial planning platform or comparable enterprise finance/EPM and business intelligence systems.
• Advanced skills in leading, integrating, and driving change across multiple finance functions.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
• Excellent executive communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to lead, develop, and retain a multi-disciplinary team of finance professionals.
• Ability to operate as a strategic thought partner to the VP & CFO, Care Delivery.

Compensation Range

$198,500.00 - $288,000.00. This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications and is subject to modification based on geographic location.
