Pay: $21.00-24.00/hour

Job Description: Preferred Personnel Solutions is seeking to hire Technical Specialists for a company located in Kennesaw!

Technical Specialists are responsible for delivering removing servicing and maintaining durable medical equipment in patient homes and healthcare facilities. The job requires daily travel using company vehicle occasional overnight travel with extended travel for staff coverage. The service area may extend 250 miles.

Education Requirement for Technical Specialists:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Technical or trade school training or certification is preferred.

Qualifications for Technical Specialists:

After meeting all of PPS standard qualifications Candidate must meet below qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• Must have a valid license with minimum of 3 years of drive experience.

• Customer support experience.

• Work experience in the medical device industry or healthcare industry.

• Proficient with standard technology devices and Apps (mobile phones tablets etc.).

• Ability to sit kneel bend or stand for extended periods of time.

• Ability to safely lift move or transport 50-75 lbs. with and without physical aids.

• Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle for short and long distance travel.

• Must wear provided personal protective equipment including but not limited to safety shoes gloves and protective clothing.

• Willing to submit to a drug screening and background check.

Assignment Duties for Technical Specialists :

• Schedules and completes deliveries and removals of medical equipment in patient homes and healthcare facilities.

• Keeps accurate records of delivery pickup maintenance and repair activities.

• Demonstrates and explains general operation and proper use of medical equipment to patient/customer.

• Periodically works on-call rotation.

• Responsible for general warehouse and fleet vehicle upkeep.

• Performs other duties as assigned by management.
