Job Summary Responsible for data analysis and reporting departments. Coordinates with departments and other University stakeholders to gather data, analyze trends, develop graphs and generate operational and financial reports, including daily sales reports, report interpretation and trend analysis. Coordinates proactive problem identification and resolution through data collection, upgrade reports and interpretation. Collaborates with others to create, analyze and interpret reports to make data‑driven recommendations to leadership for quantitative business decisions. Responsibilities Compile standard and ad‑hoc reports per established guidelines and frequency. Provide reports, analysis and data interpretation for all assigned departments. Identify areas of opportunity and present findings and recommendations to leadership and stakeholders. Provide productivity analysis reports. Develop and maintain reports to measure operational and/or utilization activity. Prepare ad‑hoc reports required by associations, affiliations, oversight and regulatory requirements. Compile recurring operational review that includes trend analysis. Assist with departmental inventory reporting and analysis. Prepare ad‑hoc reporting that assists with measuring department performance and/or effectiveness. Collaborate with stakeholders across campus, including close work with the Office of University Data Strategy to maintain alignment with overall university data strategy. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field. Some related work experience. Preferred Qualifications Certificate in Data Analytics. Advanced degree in a related field. Previous experience with data analytics, preferably in higher education. Ability to use other database systems. Ability to handle multiple tasks or projects simultaneously and meet assigned deadlines. Ability to utilize multiple SQL‑based software modules. Knowledge of SAS and/or other data management software. Strong data visualization skills. Excellent interpersonal, initiative, teamwork, problem‑solving, independent judgment, organization, communication (verbal and written), time management, project management and presentation skills. Proficient with computer applications and programs (e.g., Microsoft Office suite). Strong attention to detail and follow‑up skills. Strong customer service skills and phone and e‑mail etiquette.
