IT Project Manager II

Job TitleThis role requires a specific start date and will support disciplined execution of activities related to Risk Management.Location: Charlotte, NCSalary Range: Competitive salary based on experience.Introduction: The primary responsibility is to identify and document risks and related mitigation plans, as well as validate evidence to support risk mitigation for all Global Information Security (GIS)-related vulnerabilities within defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).Required Skills & QualificationsCapable of analyzing, simplifying, and expressing complex problems.Ability to "connect the dots" for others across multiple data points, making connections upstream/downstream that may not be easily noticeable.Knowledge of databases – Oracle, SQL Server, Hadoop.Knowledge of project management concepts.Programming background (Java,.Net).Preferred Skills & QualificationsAny work in Technical Support.Ability to work in a highly visible and fast-paced environment where business needs/priorities may change and the path forward is not always black/white.Excellent communication skills (presentation and influencer) and ability to synthesize information to drive the team to results.Knowledge of Agile Methodologies.Self-starter, organized, versatile, and capable of performing work with minimal management oversight.Excellent time management skills and ability to juggle multiple competing priorities.A problem solver who can manage through ambiguity successfully.Exhibit strong relationship management and interpersonal skills.Ability to work through controversial situations.Excellent facilitation and presentation skills.Prior work experience at client or in client's industry.Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.Day-to-Day ResponsibilitiesIdentify and document risks and related mitigation plans.Validate evidence to support risk mitigation for GIS-related vulnerabilities.Lead and facilitate meetings to discuss, debate, and understand risks.Draft clear and articulate issue summaries and mitigation plans to be reviewed by senior and executive management.Ensure evidence is sufficient to warrant closure of issues.Respond timely to ad hoc inquiries from management.Company Benefits & CultureComprehensive health and wellness benefits.Opportunities for professional development and growth.Supportive and inclusive company culture.
