The Opportunity We are seeking a highly motivated, year-round Senior Tax & Accounting Advisor to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for a self-motivated professional looking for flexible career options, available as a Full-Time, Part-Time, or Contractual position. As a senior team member, you will operate as a trusted client advisor, focusing heavily on sophisticated tax preparation, strategic tax planning, and foundational public accounting services for high-net-worth clients and small businesses. Key Responsibilities Tax Compliance & Advisory Prepare and review complex federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, trusts, partnerships, S-corporations, C-corporations, and non-profit organizations. Develop strategic tax plans and projections to minimize client liabilities and optimize tax positioning. Manage client relationships proactively, guiding them through strategies, IRS notices, and compliance workflows. Mentor junior staff by conducting quality reviews of mid-level tax returns and providing technical support. Produce organized, audit-ready workpapers and supporting schedules in accordance with professional standards. Accounting & Business Advisory Services Oversee monthly bookkeeping and general ledger maintenance for a select portfolio of business clients. Manage account reconciliations, transaction classifications, and month-end/year-end closing processes. Deliver ancillary business support, including financial statement preparation and payroll review/administration when needed. Experience & Requirements Core Qualifications Active CPA license or Enrolled Agent (EA) credential is required. Minimum of 5 years of progressive tax preparation and compliance experience. Minimum of 5 years of experience working in public accounting. Deep technical knowledge of individual, small business, entity, and multi-state taxation. Proven experience managing relationships with high-net-worth clients and business owners. Technical & Professional Skills Tech-forward mindset with strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online and modern cloud-based tax preparation software. Exceptional communication skills with a passion for delivering premium, advisory-level client service. Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to confidently navigate IRS inquiries and complex regulatory environments. Why Join Us?
