Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Desired Background and Qualifications:

• Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active Licensure (or eligibility) in Speech-Language Pathology for New Mexico
• Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status in SLP
• School-based experience preferred; passion for working with young children a must
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to a caseload of approximately 40 students
• Conduct assessments, create individualized plans, and collaborate on multidisciplinary teams
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate, timely records in compliance with school and state guidelines
• Partner with families, teachers, and support staff to foster a nurturing learning environment
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for students’ communication needs
