What You Will Do

• Design and implement backend systems using Python and FastAPI to support scalable AI applications.
• Develop and optimize database solutions with PostgreSQL and Redis to ensure high performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate machine learning models into production workflows.
• Manage infrastructure using Kubernetes and Terraform for continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD).
• Leverage cloud services across AWS, GCP, and Azure to enhance system capabilities and scalability.
• Build and maintain vector databases to support advanced data retrieval and processing.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior engineers to foster a culture of learning and improvement.

Ideal Candidate Background

• 4–6 years of experience in backend software engineering, with a strong focus on AI or machine learning applications.
• Proficiency in Python and experience with FastAPI for building web services.
• Solid understanding of database management and experience with PostgreSQL and Redis.
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools, along with experience in managing Kubernetes environments.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

Preferred

• Experience working with vector databases and knowledge of their applications in AI.
• Familiarity with Docker for containerization and deployment of applications.
• Background in financial services or enterprise software development.

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary for this role ranges from $250K to $300K, complemented by equity options of 0.1% to 0.3%. This company values its employees and offers a collaborative environment that fosters professional growth and innovation.
