Conduct assessments for diverse age groups including pediatrics, adults, and the elderly using observational and standardized approaches.

Create tailored treatment plans tailored to meet both immediate and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing goals.

Offer personalized speech therapy sessions focusing on various aspects such as language, fluency, voice, and swallowing.

Collaborate across disciplines, working closely with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and families to formulate cohesive care strategies.

Provide educational resources to patients and families to encourage progress beyond clinical time.

Assist with inpatient evaluations and speech therapy interventions to maintain care continuity.

Ensure meticulous record-keeping in accordance with state, federal, and organizational regulations.

Commit to continuous learning and collaboration with peers to stay ahead in the field.

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.

Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), unless ASHA-certified.

Active state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.

A Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 30 days of starting.

Expertise in evidence-based treatment methods across various ages, with deep knowledge of both developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders.

Strong interpersonal communication skills, fostering rapport with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.

Flexibility to adapt therapeutic techniques to accommodate a spectrum of cultural and linguistic backgrounds.

Sound clinical judgment paired with proficient problem-solving skills.

Experience with electronic medical records and documentation standards.
