Mesilla Valley Transportation is now hiring Local Pick-Up amp; Delivery (Pamp;D) Dispatchers for both day or night schedules in El Paso, TX!!!/strong/ppstrongSchedule/strongbr /Wednesday 12pm-6pm; Thursday-Saturday 6am-6pm/ppA strongLocal Pick-Up amp; Delivery Dispatcher /strongis responsible for supporting drivers after hours, identifying issues, and using critical thinking skills to find solutions. They will work together with Operations teams to ensure on-time service is met per customers expectations./ppstrongResponsibilities:/strong/pulliCommunicates in a clear and consistent manner and with high integrity both internally and externally./liliManages drivers during extended coverage shifts./liliActs as an extension of Fleet Supervisor of fleets assigned./liliUsing critical thinking, provides solutions to drivers to assist with complex situations./liliAccurately enters data into company computer systems./liliEscalates and/or resolves problems per guidelines./li/ulp/ppstrongQualifications:/strong/pulliMinimum of 1 year of experience in Motor Carrier Operations./liliApply knowledge of Motor Carrier Resources to meet company, customer, and driver needs./liliModerate knowledge of North American Supply Chain Network and Operations./liliCompetent user of MS Office./liliStrong communication and problem-solving skills./li/ulp/ppMesilla Valley Transportation began in 1982 as a small independent fleet in the Southwest.
