Business Analyst Specialist

Role Description

Acentra Health is looking for a Business Analyst Specialist to join our growing team.

The Business Analyst, Specialist is responsible for logical design and functional behavior of the solutions involving complex information systems under no supervision for Provider Payments along with Oracle Financials background. This role would:

• Review, evaluate, and recommend solutions for various business requirements.
• Provide a fully integrated solution ensuring accomplishment of business requirements.
• Collaborate with customers and stakeholders and use business modeling techniques to deliver effective “to be” operating models and roadmaps.
• Work to develop an integrated view of the solution and align project with the strategic business vision.

Responsibilities include:

• Elicit requirements working with customers and stakeholders.
• Work with customers on presenting technical solutions for complex business functionalities.
• Possess unwavering commitment to customer service and operational excellence.
• Provide customer support through leading customer demos and presentations.
• Understand the overall system architecture and cross-functional integration.
• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of business and technical solutioning related to Core Claims to ensure high quality.
• Demonstrate advanced expertise and contribute to the Business Analysis practice by publishing technology points of view through the creation of white papers.
• Possess in-depth knowledge and be well-versed in multiple functions or capabilities.
• Lead team in applying in-depth healthcare Provider Enrollment, Maintenance and Screening; Claims and encounter, Member Eligibility & Enrollment, or Managed Care domain knowledge to review and analyze systems problems to ensure high quality.
• Escalate issues and risks to manager and assist in developing solutions.
• Facilitate proposal development by providing technical solution write-ups and pricing estimates.
• Act as the requirements subject matter expert and support requirements change management.
• Keep abreast of new technology and market developments (including federal regulations) and support the adoption of new technologies and tools to improve quality of business solutioning and related deliverables.
• Identify gaps and deviations within product versus customer business requirements.
• Evaluate requirements, transform requirements to system functional requirements and business process requirements.
• Collaborate with Solution/Technical Architect, Business Analyst, Technical lead, and stakeholders to translate Business and System functional requirements to implementable components.
• Identify potential system impacts due to proposed system function implementation.
• Determine optimized solution by conducting Decision Analysis and Resolution on possible solutions.
• Develop Prototype, Proof of Concept, wireframe models to demonstrate solution as applicable.
• Identify areas for process improvement to improve quality and optimize cost.
• Read, understand, and adhere to all corporate policies including policies related to HIPAA and its Privacy and Security Rules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
• 7+ years of business analysis or related experience.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience on large complex project Domain knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and/or healthcare verticals.
• Minimum 5+ years of business analysis experience in Healthcare Domain knowledge with strong knowledge on Medicare / Medicaid Management Information System and managing vendor receivables and payables.
• Excellent knowledge of generating Remittance Advices (835X12s).
• Excellent customer relation skills including presentation and meeting facilitation.
• Experience leading and mentoring team that facilitates and runs customer-facing requirements and design sessions.
• Excellent requirements elicitation and validation skills, including experience with Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Strong technical knowledge and proficiency in SQL.

Requirements

• Experience working with Oracle EBS modules like Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and Oracle Financials (OFIN).
